The Society of St. Vincent DePaul strives to make contact with the needy individuals and families of our Parish and in the Cecil County community at large, providing those in need with short-term assistance in the areas of food, rent, utilities, and other basic needs.
They are located in our parish office, 810 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD. The building is right in front of Good Shepherd Catholic School.
Office hours: Monday and Wednesday, 10 am-noon, for financial assistance only! You may call for information on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 am til noon, at 410-642-3588.
Groceries are distributed every other Friday in the school parking lot, from 10 am til 11:30 am. After your first pick-up, you will receive a reminder call about the next date. The dates for the remainder of 2024 are: Oct 11th & Oct 25th Nov 8th & 22nd Dec 6th & 20th

If you are seeking financial assistance, appointments are not necessary, but you need to bring the correct paperwork: Utility bill, bring a copy of the bill so they have the correct account number. Rent bill, bring something in writing from the landlord showing the amount owed. They will assist with rent, electric, water and fuel
